Pie SELLING!

Okay, so I just found this new dessert spot in town called Dessert Pals and let me just say that the cupcakes there are GREAT! I had this awesome little chocolate one it it tasted soo good! ANYWAYS! Back on topic, I talked to the guy who owns the spot and he said I can take in a pie and SELL IT! So yay! Planning on making my best strawberry pie for that and see how he likes it. Wish me luck! (P.S. I finally found that tip on weeping from Lisa and I'm gonna go try it later!)

Oh! I Forgot! (How Stupid am I?!)

I was in NYC last Sunday to see Promises, Promises! I met KRISTIN CHENOWETH! Yes, MET HER!
I waited at the stage door and she came out so I got to meet her, I gave her a drawing I've been working on for her and she squeezed my hand and thanked me! She was SO nice, it's amazing! So apparently everything people say about her is true, she is really kind and she was really nice and personal when I gave her the drawing and stuff, it's cool. Most people aren't like that anymore, but that's one of the reasons I really like Kristin. She seemed that way and she is.

Hey, I know it's been a while, but I've FINALLY found a good opportunity to go make a pie! THANKSGIVING!! So I made yet another shoo fly.
Here's the results:
Mom: 8.5
My (great?) uncle: 8.5
So apparently it was practically perfect but in most people's taste I got too strong a molasses. I'm blaming my mother for that one =P she got the groceries. Anyways there's that, and I am going to try to get back into the baking business again! (If I can!) Wish me luck!

Hey I'm Back!

Well I'm FINALLY back from China and since it's summer, I might get to make a pie or two!
Okay I have a few I know I need to do.
1. Kentucky Derby Pie. My friend Katie told me to do it ages ago and I NEVER GOT TO IT!!!
2. Banana Cream Pie. I was given an article recently about Kristin Chenoweth and her favorite foods and her fave dessert is THIS PIE!

WELL IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

This has like absolutely nothing to do with the pie... well I might talk about it later... I've been talking with some people like my cousin about the whole Pushing Daisies thing and all I can think is "Screw you ABC!!!" but that's about it. Well I've been looking at some things and Bryan Fuller is hoping to make a movie or a 12 issue comic thing for Pushing Daisies to properly close the series. I think he should do both hehe but who knows. I don't even watch ABC anymore anyways.

Made a cherry pie! Results to come once it's out of the oven and cooled down.
THIS WILL BE THE LAST PIE I'M MAKING UNTIL I RETURN FROM CHINA!!!
So far it looks REALLY GOOD!!! I watched like three Pushing Daisies episodes while baking this pie... I'm nuts!

Okay it turns out I'm probably NOT gonna pie bake for a bit AGAIN. Mom said no pie baking on Mother's Day.
